On August 31, 2022, DHCR released proposed amendments to the Rent Stabilization Code, to conform the Code to the changes made to the Rent Stabilization Law by the NYS Legislature on June 14, 2019, known as the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act (“HSTPA”).
Housing Justice for All (HJ4A) a statewide movement comprised of tenants and homeless New Yorkers, invited Collins, Dobkin & Miller, LLP to submit comments, which will be included with HJ4A’s submission to DHCR on the amendments.
